Stephanie + Mike // Maternity

Well, what can I say?

After a few failed attempts to schedule this shoot during the winter months we finally found the perfect day. You can't ask for much better than 55º in New Jersey on a February day.  One of my favorite parts of this maternity session, was that I got to shoot at Double Trouble State Park, which is right near where I grew up.

Mike is also an amazing photographer, so lots of inside jokes were thrown around and all three (or four) of us had a blast. 

Seeing this fresh start to a new family means a lot to me. Congratulations to these three and the best of luck!

Melissa + Liam | Dingmans Ferry, PA

Liam and Melissa's story is a long and complex one.  I'm not going to get crazy into it, but their relationship goes way back and is deep routed in Martial arts.  They both worked in separate schools for many years in two different towns before they finally decided to open a school together in Stafford, NJ.  The  school has been successful and if you want to check out StaffordMMA <--you can see it here.

Liam just made a huge life change; he had just earned his black belt in Brazilian JiuJitsu which is actually a huge deal, which was 13 years in the making.  At the ceremony where Liam received his black belt in front of all his friends and family, he took the opportunity to take it a step further and asked Melissa to marry him.  An awesome story.

Needless to say, these high achievers wouldn't settle for a normal engagement session.  Only a few miles of hiking in a dress and a button up shirt to some of the Deleware water gaps most beautiful scenery would suffice for theses two.
